STEUBENVILLE -- An exciting new adventure awaits fifth- through eighth-grade students at the Sycamore Youth Center, as officials prepare to hold Cosmetology Camp.

Participants will dive into the world of beauty and creativity during the camp, scheduled to take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. July 29-31.

Students will learn about nail art, facials, coloring techniques, hair extensions and more, stated organizers. The hands-on camp will be led under the direction of Renee Thompson of Dee's Hair Salon.

"This is the perfect opportunity to explore your passion for cosmetology," officials said.

Thompson has many years of experience teaching at Sycamore Youth Center and said she can not wait to share her expertise with students.

Spots are limited to the first 25 students to sign up. The camp is free of charge.

To register online, visit sycamorecenter.churchcenter.com/people/forms/776376.

This will be an opportunity to learn, create and have fun, according to camp organizers.
