Library announce upcoming activities and events for upcoming week

STEUBENVILLE -- The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has announced its upcoming activities and events.

Adults: Learn to become certified and fly a drone during a visit from Steubenville High School's Natalie Campana, aerospace engineering and aviation instructor. The event will be held at noon Wednesday. Register to attend.

Children: Stop in Monday and pick up a water-themed Co-Si Connect learning lunchbox, while supplies last.

Learn about panda habitats using STEM at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Register to attend.

Adults: Make string art in the shape of a feather at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Register to attend.

Children: Stop in and pose for photos with Alice in Wonderland backdrop props from Monday through July 19. Photos will be e-mailed to participants.

Bring a blanket, build a table tent and join in camping activities during a camp-in event at 2 p.m. Monday. Register to attend.

Children: Children ages 4 to 8 can take an adventure using water through activities and stories at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Register to attend.

Adults: Book club will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday to discuss "A Good Neighborhood," by Therese Anne Fowler. Register to attend.

Teens: Use the library's laser engraver to make a mimic of a treasure chest at 2 p.m. July 20. Register to attend.

Adults: Use an armchair to travel to national parks at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Jim and Sharon Miner have traveled the country and will share their love of the national parks through pictures. Register to attend.
