STEUBENVILLE -- The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has announced its upcoming events and activities for the week which begins Monday.
Branches throughout the area will offer various classes and programs and registration is required for most. Contact your nearest branch to attend.

Children: Story Time will be held for children between the ages of 5 to 10 at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Register to attend.
Watch a movie at the library at 1 p.m. July 13. Register to reserve a seat for family members and discover what will be playing.
Teens: Pick up a grab-and-go nature suncatcher beginning Monday, while supplies last.

Children: Children 5 years old and older can attend the Mommy and Me Paint Date at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Registration is required.
Teens: Use basic materials to build a solar oven at 2 p.m. Monday. Supplies will be provided. Register to attend.

Adults: Decorate a lantern using pressed flowers at 2 p.m. July 13. The class is free of charge and supplies will be provided. Register to attend the class.

Children: Play and Learn offers toys which promote letter knowledge. The activity is for children ages birth to 4. The class will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday and at 11 a.m. July 23.
Children between the ages of 6 to 12 are invited to paint the cover of a hand-made album with a "My Adventure Book" logo or can create their own. The activity will begin at 2 p.m. July 10. Registration is required.
Two movies will be shown at the library. To discover what will be playing, call the library. The movie for those between the ages of 8-12 will be shown at 5 p.m. July 11. The movie for those 3-7 years of age will be shown at 11 a.m. July 12.
Teens: Make a toothless stuffie at 5:30 p.m. July 10. Registration is required.
