The Wellsburg Kiwanis Club held its annual bicycle decorating contest prior to the city's Independence Day parade. Children participated in the procession, where winners received coupons from McDonald's in Follansbee, among other prizes. Those taking part included, from left, front, Scarlet Schey, Lucy Lucas and Wyatt Lucas; and back, Kiwanis Club President Eric Fithyan, and Kiwanian members Mayor Dan Dudley and Christopher Fox.
