The Weirton Steel 25-Year Club picnic will hold its annual summer event Saturday at the Serbian Picnic Grounds in Weirton. The club, which has been in existence for more than 75 years, received a contribution toward the picnic from officials with First Choice America Credit Union. This year, the event is not just being held for its employees and retirees with more than 25 of service from the former Weirton Steel Corp./Arcelor Mittal plant, it is being held for the current employees of Cleveland Cliffs.
