Local Buckeye Ruritans recently participated in the National Ruritan Scholarship program, according to officials in the Buckeye Local School District. Three students were the recipients of the honor, including, from top left, clockwise, President Brian Yanssens; recipient Elizabeth Stock, granddaughter of long-term member Ralph Nickoson; and Treasurer Tammy Yanssens; recipient Grace Browning, granddaughter of long-term member John Wetherell; and long-term member Donny Brannon and his granddaughter, recipient Shayleigh Hornyak.
