The Sycamore Youth Center held its first Sycamore Fellowship of Christian Athletes Camp, as 28 students participated. The center's president, Bobbyjon Bauman, served as camp director. Organizers said they were honored to have Bob Kimpel, area director of Steel Valley FCA, speak to students, along with Rebekah Cohen Morris, executive director of the Aim Women's Center. Kimpel shared his insights on spiritual gifts, while Morris discussed servant leadership, highlighting Jesus as the ultimate example. Travis Zimmerman and Derrick Derrow, basketball players from Franciscan University of Steubenville, shared their personal testimonies with students, as well. The players said they will return in August when the center holds its Summer Fun Camp. Bauman thanked the speakers for "their powerful messages, which deeply resonated" with the community's youth.
