The Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce and the Richmond Lions Club joined forces to hold a ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony at the Richmond Park shelterhouse July 25. The shelterhouse is located behind T.S. Electric. The event took place during Richmond's community picnic, where free hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks were served to those attending. The ceremony was to recognize the park's newest offerings to the public, including a new grill, pickleball courts and a pavilion.
