STEUBENVILLE -- They are back. And by popular demand.
Making their return to the Ohio Valley are several local performers -- individuals and groups -- who participated in last year's June 9 Gospel Music Night Concert.
The musical celebration took place at the Louis Berkman Amphitheater, located next to Historic Fort Steuben downtown. This year's event will take to the stage at the amphitheater once again, drawing in what is expected to be a very large crowd.
According to concert organizers, last year's show brought in approximately 600 audience members. Attendees were energized throughout the evening, officials noted, saying the same is expected for this concert.
Because of the positive feedback performers received, officials decided to bring the event back, noting this particular show is a "highly-anticipated event."
The public is invited and encouraged to attend concert, set for 6 p.m. Sunday. The evening will be filled with inspiring performers, including some of the area's top choirs, praise bands, mimes and vocal soloists.
Performers scheduled to appear, in order of appearance, include, Linda Ross Brown, Lynzee Ensell, Kaleb Kibble, the Apostolic Faith Temple Choir, the Tree of Life Choir from Martins Ferry, Crossroads North River Worship Team, Shelby Elerick, Quanita Elmore, Tammy Spicer, Destiny Angelucci, Jasmine Wooden, Sam Allison, Ariah Jones, Elisha Fletcher, the ReFocus Church Worship Team, the Word of Life Worship Team and the Impact Church Worship Team.
