The Madonna High School Class of 1964 held its 60th class reunion July 26-27. An ice-breaker was held at the Blue Steel Grille and Cafe, located in the Steel Valley Bowling Center in Weirton. The reunion took place at Undo's, located in the Holiday Inn in Weirton. There were 50 people in attendance, 30 being classmates. Former teacher Bill Barrett attended with his wife, Jeanne. Classmates traveled from Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio to share an evening with those they graduated with 60 years ago. Classmates Chris Pearson and Rich Mahoney provided the welcome. Ed Binkowski read the roll call of classmates, followed by a moment of silence for those who died since graduation. Taffy Krawchyk played an audio message of a poem that was written by class member Midge Maroni, honoring those who died. Kathy Fodor then read a poem. Jim Pauchnik led the group in prayer. Door prizes were awarded to Tina Crossley, Dave Capito, John Panconi, Steve Zdybicki and Pauchnik.
