Town and Country Ladies Golf

The Town and Country Ladie's Golf League's play of the day on Aug. 14 was NOSE, where players counted only the holes which began with the letters in the word, being numbers one, six, seven, eight and nine. The winners were: Dorothy Baier, A Flight; Diane Vandine, B Flight; and Nancy Lellie, C Flight.

The winners of closest to the pin on hole No. 4 were: Marilyn Crew, B Flight; and Toni Dondzila, C Flight.

The winners for longest drive on hole No. 7 were: Baier, A Flight; Vandine, B Flight; and Lellie, C Flight.

Players winning the longest drive on hole No. 9 were: Baier, A Flight; Vandine, B Flight; and Michele Purviance, C Flight.

Vandine was the winner of low putts, with 16.

Highland Springs Ladies League

The Highland Springs Ladies Golf League played the back nine Aug. 18. The play of the day was, "Low Gross."

The evening's winners were: Neysa McCart, first place; Yuko Atwell, second place; and Tammy Koutsky, third place.

Erin Ankrum had the longest drive on hole No. 15.

Laura Froehlich was the winner of closest to the pin on the second shot on hole No. 17.

Koutsky carded a birdie on hole No. 13.

McCart had the lowest number of putts for the evening.

Cadiz Women's Golf League

The Cadiz Women's Golf League's play of the day on Wednesday was, "Team Low Gross." Hostesses were Pat Stewart and Sandy Terek.

The winning team consisted of Tracy Amos, Brenda Hartley and Sandi Polen.

A Flight had three team members tie for low putts this week: Marilyn Kenny, Tracy Amos and Kathy Newburn.

The winner of low putts for B Flight was Judy Crawshaw. Sandy Terek won low putts for C Flight.

Kenny had an eagle on hole No. 1. Crawshaw and Sandi Polen had chip-ins.

Roberta Cireddu had a birdie on hole No. 4.
