WINTERSVILLE -- The Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club announced its competition winners for the month of August. This month's theme was Action.
Theme category finishers were: Eric Patterson, Michelle Stevens, Sue Adey and Andy Tindor, first-place; Diane Bannister, second-place, and John Newlin, third place.
The top-finishers in the open category were: Newlin, first place; Karen Felix, second place; and John Jackson, third place.
The top-finishers in the category of special effects were: Tindor, first place; Felix, second place; and Stevens, third place.
The Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club welcomes anyone who has an interest in photography, whether is by using a camera or a cell phone, to attend any of its meetings.
The camera club's next scheduled meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 17 on the lower level social hall of Two Ridges Presbyterian Church, located at 1085 Canton Road in Wintersville.
The camera club will hold its annual photo competition during the meeting.
