Town and Country Ladies League

The Town and Country Ladies Golf League held a four-ladies scramble at Spring Hills Golf Club Aug. 27. The winning team was the foursome of Veronica Foldi, Pat Zorne, Diane Vandine and Norma Henson.

The second-place team consisted of members Laura Froehlich, Michele Purviance, Rose Kaczmarek and Nance Lellie.

The winners for the longest drive on hole No. 1 were: Foldi, A Flight; Marilyn Crew, B Flight; and Dora Elizaga, C Flight.

The winner for the longest drive on hole No. 6 were: Foldi, A Flight; Vandine, B Flight; and Kaczmarek, C Flight.

Cadiz Women's Golf League

The Cadiz Women's Golf League held its play of the day, "Low Score Par Three's Plus Putts," on Wednesday. Hostesses were Pat Stewart, Linda Tyson and Sandy Terek.

Winners of the play of the day and low putts were: Laura Lee Wetzel, A Flight; Bonnie Beetham, B Flight; and Glenda Sensel, C Flight.

Yuko Atwell, Marilyn Kenny, Wetzel, Sherry Sapon and Roberta Cireddu had birdies.

Brenda Hartley, Kathy Newburn, Sapon, Cireddu, Donna Griffin and Stewart had chip-ins.
