Helping hands
Those involved with the Buckeye Ruritans recently worked alongside juniors and seniors enrolled in the electrical trades program at the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School. The purpose was to refurbish the community’s Christmas lights, preparing them to be hung throughout the holiday season. Students taking part in the program are under the direction of instructor Buddy Davis, who assisted his class last year, refurbishing community stars. This year, students assisted the national organization that is dedicated to improving communities and building a better America through fellowship, goodwill and community service, by working on refurbishing community wreaths.
