JVS attends conference
Juniors and seniors enrolled at the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School had the opportunity to attend the 2024 SkillsUSA Leadership Conference held in Columbus on Nov. 14-15. Approximately 3,000 students from throughout Ohio gathered inside the Greater Columbus Convention Center to attend various seminars. Among the topics covered by officials were the areas of financial literacy, internet workings, team-building exercises, soft skills and life skills. The students walked away from the conference with additional knowledge needed for the SkillsUSA program, officials stated.
