Sycamore center performs at Historic Fort
STEUBENVILLE — Staff, volunteers and friends of the Sycamore Youth and Aim Women’s centers joined forces to spread holiday cheer through song at the Historic Fort Steuben on Dec. 8. The choir performed a variety of Christmas carols, creating a festive atmosphere for those who gathered for the event.
To encourage participation, lyric sheets were handed out, allowing the audience to sing along with the choir. The harmonious collaboration between the neighboring ministries brought the spirit of the season to life, announced Bobbyjon Bauman, executive director of the Sycamore center.
Rebekah Cohen Morris, executive director of the Aim Women’s Center, reflected on the success of the evening, saying, “That was so much fun. What a blessing it was to have both of these ministries, just a block apart, come together to spread holiday cheer.”
Bauman, who led the group on guitar, expressed his enthusiasm for the event and shared his vision for the future: “I hope this becomes an annual tradition for Sycamore and Aim.”
The event highlighted the power of community and collaboration, bringing neighbors together to celebrate the joy of the holiday season in a meaningful way.
