Aim Women’s Center to hold gala
STEUBENVILLE — Steubenville will soon have a new home for expectant mothers who are in need of a place to stay. The name of that home will be unveiled during a special presentation to be held during the Aim Women’s Center’s 2025 Benefit Gala.
According to Rebekah Coen Morris, executive director at Aim, the gala will will be held March 22 at Franciscan University of Steubenville’s Finnegan Fieldhouse.
The evening will bring together community members, supporters and partners, for the purpose of celebrating life, sharing inspiring stories and raising “vital funds to continue the center’s mission.”
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with drinks and hors d’oeuvres to be served. Dinner will follow, along with the evening’s program, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The gala will conclude with a dessert and drinks social between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Attendees will hear firsthand accounts of Aim’s impact, Coen Morris explained.
A keynote address will highlight the importance of life-affirming care, and support for women who are facing unexpected pregnancies.
The unveiling of the name for the new home for expectant mothers, is another highlight of the event, she continued, noting the home is expected to open in the spring.
“This new initiative will provide much-needed housing and support for women who need a safe and nurturing environment during pregnancy and beyond,” Coen Morris said.
The gala will offer attendees the first look at the vision behind the home, and explain how it will change lives in the community.
“The Aim Benefit Gala is not only an opportunity to reflect on the incredible work that has been done, but is a chance to look forward to how we can continue to serve women during the vulnerable time of pregnancy,” Cohen Morris stated. “We are grateful for the generosity of our community, and look forward to sharing our work with our guests.”
The enter provides free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, options counseling, parenting classes, material assistance and ongoing support for women in the Ohio Valley. With a growing need for comprehensive, life-affirming services, the funds raised at the gala will help expand Aim’s ability to serve more women and families through medical care, counseling and community outreach programs.
Sponsorship opportunities and individual tickets for the gala are now available.
