Christian school’s spring musical

WINTERSVILLE -- Officials from the Jefferson County Christian School have announced this year's spring musical will be "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!" which is scheduled to run March 13-15 at the school.

According to music and drama teacher Erin Haines, "This beloved Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical brings the biblical story of Joseph to life -- with dazzling costumes, energetic choreography and a dynamic score blending pop, rock and calypso styles."

"Join us as our talented students bring Joseph's inspiring journey to the stage," Haines continued. "From betrayal to triumph, through humor, heart and unforgettable songs, including 'Go, Go, Go Joseph' and 'Any Dream Will Do,' this family-friendly musical delivers a powerful message of hope, perseverance and forgiveness."

Performances will begin at 7 p.m. March 13-15, with an additional matinee at 2 p.m. March 15.

Haines explained a couple of students will be performing the same role.

She stated Adrianna Corder will be playing the part of the narrator, and Andrew Graves the part of Joseph, for the March 13 show and during the 7 p.m. performance on March 15.

Lilly Caldwell will play the part of the narrator, with Mark Jenkins portraying Joseph, during the March 14 show and for the matinee on March 15.
