Last year, students from Steubenville High School visited Rome as part of the journey abroad. Known as the Globetrotters, this year's group of students and adults will tour Greece and Turkey in the spring. Gifted director Jackie Reeves, along with Adele Filtz, guidance counselor, will be departing Pittsburgh International Airport to Athens May 29, taking with them 36 students in grades nine through 12 and 13 adults. A return trip to Athens will be the final stop before returning home on June 7. Handling the preparations is EF Tours. A series of fundraisers has been held and are still being planned to help raise money for the trip.
