Several members of the Indian Creek High School band were recognized and presented with awards during the school's annual band banquet, held March 23 at St. Florain Hall in Wintersville. The band will travel to Orlando Tuesday through Saturday to perform the Harry Potter medley "Hogwarts Fantasy," in a parade at Universal Studios. Among those recognized at the banquet were, from left, Aziah Ade, LaTonya Martin Award; Colton Boyd, John Philip Sousa National Award, Mary K. Means Award and the Tom Dohnal Band Booster Scholarship; Allison Rawson, Director's Award and the Dr. and Mrs. Mark Lewis Band Booster Scholarship; and Marshal Houser, Louis Armstrong Award and Arion Award.
