Library to hold events

STEUBENVILLE — National Library Week will be celebrated April 6-12. The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County is preparing for the event by hosting the “Great Library Draw-Off!” Beginning Friday, children, teenagers and adults are invited to submit their own unique library card design. The contest will continue through April 10. Winners in each category will have their designs printed as a limited-edition card that will be available throughout the entire library system, organizers announced.

The top 10 submissions will be voted for on the library’s Facebook page (@plsjlibrary) and Instagram page, @plsjlibrary, from April 14-18. Winners will be announced May 1. The winning cards will debut just in time for the summer reading program, which begins June 9. Don’t miss your chance to leave your artistic mark on your libraries and show your best artwork to Jefferson County residents. Pick up a form at any library location beginning Friday to take part.
