The Kiwanis Club of Weirton will hold its live Facebook auction beginning at noon April 28. The event will run until 9 p.m. April 30. Proceeds raised through the fundraiser will be used to benefit Kiwanis Club projects, including youth projects and civic endeavors throughout the community. Any businesses interested in donating items to the auction can contact President Ernest Nicholas at (304) 479-0235. Kiwanians volunteered to help in the collecting of items and are preparing them for bid. Those taking part included, from left, John Hudson, Mary Kay Olashuk, Ernest Nicholas III, Major Eric Roberts, Gary Mastromichalis, Duke Horstemeyer, Rik Rekowski and Miki Marino. The Kiwanis Club of Weirton meets at noon every Tuesday at Undo’s restaurant on Three Springs Drive.
