Visit to state

Criminal justice students at Jefferson County Vocational School toured the Supreme Court of Ohio and Statehouse to learn about the judicial branch of government. The school had 10 students attend, viewing the facility, learning about the main cases on the docket and discovering the types of attorneys who work in the legal field. Program instructor Jamie Freeman received a $500 School Travel Reimbursement Grant through the court to cover travel-related expenses for the trip.
