WEIRTON — The International Senior Club met June 10 at Undo’s.

Patty Coppa led a prayer and the blessing. Larry Purks led the pledge.

Members sang “God Bless America,” prior to a sit-down dinner.

President Regina Truax introduced guests, Diane Ceraolo, Denise Shade, and Bob and Chris Racobs.

Truax noted dinner prices will increase in July, with the next meeting set to take place July 22.

Truax thanked those who donatated canned goods, delivered to the Weirton Salvation Army by Gabe Arlia.

Happy birthday was sung to those celebrating a June birthday, including Margaret Bish, Dean Ligas, Linda Pfabe, Nancy Lellie and Truax. Liz Beecroft provided the joke of the day.

Truax announced the following bus tours, which are also open to the public: Sugarcreek, Friday; Hartville Market Place and Flea Market, July 18; the Pittsburgh Pirates vs Chicago White Sox at PNC Park, Pittsburgh, July 20; Everett Railroad and Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, Hollidaysburg, Pa., and Cumberland, Md., July 23-25; Rock and Roll Doo Wop No. 27, Capitol Theater, Wheeling, Oct. 4; Oglebay Festival of Lights and Wilson Lodge, Wheeling, Nov. 14; and Christmas in New York City, Nov. 17-20.

Prizes were awarded to members during the games portion of the evening.

The 50/50 drawing was won by Pfabe. Undo’s gift certificates were won by Dolores LaRosa and Bob Recobs.

Gift card winners to Eat n’ Park were Barb Cerra, Randy Yanda and Chris Recobs. Bingo winners included Lellie, Barbara Cerra, Leonard Ginier, Gary Graham, Rosa Pulice, LaRosa and Bob Recobs.

Special thanks were given to Cerra, Beecroft and Nancy Ramsey, who helped with the activities.
