WINTERSVILLE — Members of the Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club took part in this month’s competition, which featured a theme entitled “Something Burning.”

The top finishers in the theme category for July included: Gina Judy, first place; Michelle Stevens, second place; and Barb Momyer, Dennis Jones and Sue Adey, third-place tie.

Top finishers in the open category were: Adey, first place; Jones, second place; and John Hanish, third place.

In the special effects category, the top finishers were: Jenny Riegler, first place; Stevens and Karen Felix, second-place tie; and Adey, third place.

The camera club welcomes anyone who has an interest in photography — whether using a camera or a cell phone to take pictures. All are welcomed to attend the meetings, officials stated.

The club’s next scheduled meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 19 at Two Ridges Presbyterian Church, located at 1085 Canton Road in Wintersville. Members meet on the lower level in the social hall.
