The following area churches have announced their sermon topic titles for Sunday.

• Bell Chapel United Methodist Church, Steubenville: The 10 a.m. sermon will be “The Ups and Downs of David: Dance Like David Danced,” given by the Rev. Seth Filburn.

• Cadiz Presbyterian Church: “I Thought it Would Be Easier.”

• Cove Presbyterian Church, Weirton: The 11 a.m. sermon will be “The Faithfulness and Compassion of Jesus,” given by Elder Roger Criss.

• Finley Church, Steubenville: The 10:45 a.m. sermon will be “The Coming Kingdom,” taken from the sermon series, “The Red Letters — A Deep Dive into the Sermon on the Mount.” The 6 p.m. sermon will be entitled, “Plugging In,” from the sermon series, “The Red Letters — Living in the Power of God.” Both sermons will be given by the Rev. Greg Kasler.

• Harmony Church of Mingo Junction: “What You Believe Matters: He Descended to the Dead.”

• St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Steubenville: “Money, Money, Money.”

• St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Steubenville: “The New Life in Christ.”

• Starkdale Presbyterian Church, Wintersville: “I Am the Good Shepherd,” Part 3.

• Two Ridges Presbyterian Church, Wintersville: “What is Your Deepest Desire?”

• Weirton First Christian Church: “Our Worship,” will be the sermon given by the Rev. Mark Mayer. Mayer announced in addition to the service, the church will hold a picnic.

• Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church: “The Symbol of Salvation.”

• Wintersville Methodist Church: “Bible Alive 2025! — Best Friends with Jesus.”
