Treasurer Lynn Miller gave the financial report, which was filed for audit.

Social Secretary Mary Ann Landerfield announced those who were celebrating an August birthday or anniversary.

Landerfield then introduced Orris and Troski, who gave a presentation on hospice and palliative care.

Guests supplied fresh lemonade for members, who enjoyed sipping the beverage while asking questions about the differences in hospice and palliative care.

Radvansky reminded those traveling with the Toronto Senior Citizens group on Friday, that the bus will leave the Karaffa Recreation Center rather than Red Knight Stadium parking lot, as there will be a football game that evening.
