Back to the ’70s

The Oak Glen High School Class of 1975 celebrated its 50-year reunion Aug. 22-24. Classmates concluded their get-together with a breakfast at the Holiday Inn in Weirton. Approximately 65 classmates, along with their guests, attended the event, taking part in various activities thoughout the weekend. A golf scramble at Turkana Golf Course in East Liverpool kicked off the event Aug. 22. That evening, those in attendance gathered at the White Stallion Club in Chester for an icebreaker. On Aug. 23, the group enjoyed an evening of cocktails, a social hour, buffet dinner, music provided by disc jockey Derek Sullivan, dancing and reminiscing at the Holiday Inn.
