Library announces its upcoming activities
STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has announced the upcoming events to be held during the week of Sept. 21-27.

The Main Library branch has several activities scheduled for the week, including an opportunity to join in on a live game of Clue.
Participants will meet at 1 p.m. on Sept. 27 to play the live game, with the suspects being actors from Roving Rogue Productions.
Make your way through the library and question each of the suspects as to what they know about the death of Mr. Body and see if they will reveal their hand as they try keeping quiet of their motives.
The interactive game features original game play rules, with performers portraying the suspects holding the cards.
Guests are encouraged to question the suspects for the location of the murder, the murder weapon and anything else they deem important to win the game.
Food trucks will be on site. Stop in to play. Register in advance.
Make and Mend Monday will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 22. Bring your craft or sewing project and work on it in the company of others.
Adults: Make a ghost wall hanging at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 24. Register to attend.
Books and Bites, a traveling book discussion, will be held at A Touch of Elegance at 11 a.m. Sept. 24. Attendees will discuss the book “Death by Chocolate Chip Cupcake,” by Sarah Graves. Register and pick up a copy, audiobook or e-book.
The library has rescheduled its Books and Bites event at the Laurels in Steubenville, and will now meet at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 26 to discuss “The Borrowed Life of Frederick Fife,” by Anna Johnston. Enjoy a sampling of gourmet food for $10 during the visit. Register to attend.
Book Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 24 to discuss “The Husbands,” by Holly Gramazio. Call to join.
Children: Join us for fun, fall STEM activities. This activity is for children between the ages of 6 and 12. Registration is required.

Teens: The teen manga club NEW will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. beginning Sept. 25. The club is for teenagers ages 11-17. Teens will read and discuss different books with other fans of Manga. Register to join.
Children: Introduce your little ones, ages birth to age 2, to the library during Babygarten. The activity will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 25. Children will listen to stories, rhymes and songs.
Adults: Friends of PLSJ will meet at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 24. Get involved with the library by joining the friends group.
