Town and Country Ladies League

Players in the Town and Country Ladies Golf League held the second round of their annual club tournament on Sept. 18.

A Flight winners included: Dorothy Baier, low gross and Signa Findlay, low net.

B Flight winners included: Linda Staffilino, low gross and Pat Zone, low net.

C Flight winners included: Toni Dondzila, low gross and Rose Kaczmarek and Nancy Lellie tied for low net.

The winners of the longest drive on hole No. 2 were: Vicki Brozka, A Flight; Dora Elizaga, B Flight; and Lellie, C Flight.

The winner of the longest drive on hole No. 6 were: Findlay, A Flight; Debbie Hendricks, B Flight; and Dondzila, C Flight.

The winners of closest to the pin on hole No. 4 were: Baier, A Flight; Hendricks, B Flight; and Lellie, C Flight.

Cathy Jackson had low putts for the day, with 17.

Highland Springs Golf League

The women of the Highland Springs Ladies Golf League played the front nine holes on Monday. The Play of the Day was “Blind Partners.”

The two top teams consisted of Tammy Jackson and Tammy Koutsky, first place; and Erin Ankrom and Tammy Cox, second place.

Ankrum had the long drive on hole No. 3.

Laura Froehlich was the closest to the pin on her second shot on hole No. 8.

The prize for low putts went to Yuko Atwell.

Atwell carded a birdie on hole No. 3.

Cadiz Women’s Golf League

Members of the Cadiz Women’s Golf League met Sept. 10 and 17 for the group’s annual league championship.

On Sept. 10, the Play of the Day was “Low Net.”

The winners were: Tracy Amos, A Flight; Yuko Atwell, B Flight; and Sandy Terek, C Flight.

Low putt winners included Roberta Cireddu, Marilyn Kenny, Carol Lepic and Terek.

Marilyn Kenny had an eagle.

Players who had birdies included: Brenda Hartley, Sherry Sapon, Terek and Atwell.

Players who had chip-ins included: Marilyn Kenny, Hartley and Terek.

The Cadiz league continued its 2025 League Championship Sept. 17. Once again, the Play of the Day was “Low Net.”

The winners were:Marilyn Kenny, A Flight; Froehlich, B Flight; and Terek, C Flight.

Low putt winners included: Hartley, Froehlich and Terek.

Player who had birdies were: Kenny, Cireddu, Froehlich and Terek.

Those who had chip-ins were Froehlich and Roper.

This year’s league champion, along with the champion of A Flight, was Marilyn Kenny.

A Flight’s runner-up was Tracy Amos.

The champion of B Flight was Laura Froehlich. The runner-up in B Flight was Carol Lepic.

The champion of C Flight was Sandy Terek. The runner-up in C Flight was Pat Roper.

This year’s championship was organized by Billie Stanwick, whom members thanked.
