Kitty Kochman Quarter Auction set
WEIRTON — The Weirton Kiwanis Club will hold its annual Kitty Kochman Quarter Auction at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The event will take place at Undo’s restaurant, located at 350 Three Springs Drive in the Holiday Inn in Weirton. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. The auction will include a 50/50 drawing and a Chinese auction. Door prizes will be awarded.
Tickets are being sold through the Kiwanis Club. The cost for one paddle will be $5. Additional paddles will be sold for $1 each. Every ticket purchased allows for an entry to win a door prize, organizers said.
Food will be available for purchase by Undo’s.

Fall gospel meetings begin Sunday
WEIRTON — The Weirton Heights Church of Christ will hold a fall gospel meeting beginning Sunday and continuing through Friday.
The meetings will place at the church, located at 3169 Pennsylvania Ave. The speaker will be David Kinney. Activities scheduled for Sunday include: A Bible class entitled “Does it Matter What You Believe?” at 9:30 a.m., followed by the morning worship “How Revelation Works” at 10:30 a.m.
An evening worship service will take place at 6:30 p.m., featuring the sermon, “Jesus’ Use of Scripture.”
Kinney will address attendees on the following topics during the remainder of the week: “Why the Gospel is Glorious” on Monday, “Make in Whose or What Image” on Tuesday, “Christianity and Denominationalism” on Wednesday, “One God, Not Many” on Thursday and “Staying Hungry” on Friday.

Veterans commission to meet
STEUBENVILLE — The regular monthly meeting of the Veterans Service Commission of Jefferson County will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the commission office, located at 500 Market St., Suite 310 in Steubenville. All veterans and interested parties are welcome to attend.
