The cinema, which opened its luxury auditoriums on Saturday, has state-of-the-art entertainment, luxury comfort and an unbeatable value to the region, according to officials.

The complex will be showing the film “Wicked for Good,” on Friday and “Zootopia 2” on Tuesday.

Tickets have already gone on sale for the following movies: “The Running Man,” “Predator: Badlands,” “Regretting You” and “Black Phone 2.”

A Hollywood Ale House will open soon, with a self-serve beer wall.

Later this year, movie-goers can expect the cinema’s elite auditorium, featuring heated, luxury recliners; a three-story large-format screen; and advanced laser projection.

“We’ve built this theater to give the St. Clairsville community something truly special,” Bloemeke said. “Between the comfort, the tech, the food and the unbeatable value, this is going to be your new favorite place to catch a movie.”

Veterans photos sought for tree

CHARLESTON — West Virginia Gov. Patrick Morrisey, along with his wife, first lady Denise Morrisey, are inviting all West Virginians to take part in the state holiday tradition of submitting photos of loved ones who currently serve or who have served in the United States military or as first responders.

All of the photographs received will be featured on the annual honor trees, which are displayed at the State Capitol throughout the Christmas season.

This long-standing tradition carries a special significance for the governor and his wife, according to a spokesperson, who stated the first lady’s father served in the military, along with her brother, who was an F-14 fighter pilot.

Morrisey’s father was a World War II veteran, and his mother, veterans administration nurse.

This year’s honor trees will be placed outside the governor’s reception room, located in the smaller rotunda area. A third tree, to be decorated by Gold Star mothers, “will stand in tribute to the strength, courage and unwavering devotion of the men and women who serve,” officials commented.

“West Virginians have always understood the value of service,” the governor said. “These photos provide us with the opportunity to honor the real heroes among us — our neighbors, our sons and daughters, our parents and friends. Each provides the courage and strength to lift our state every single day.”

“As the daughter of a veteran, this tradition is incredibly close to my heart,” Denise Morrisey stated. “Every photograph represents a family’s story of sacrifice and love. It is an honor to celebrate these heroes and to share their legacy with all who visit the Capitol during the holidays.”

To ensure the displays are ready for the Christmas season, photocopies of photos must be submitted by Dec. 1. Original photos will not be returned.

Submissions can be mailed to: West Virginia Governor’s Mansion, ATTN: Honor Trees, 1716 Kanawha Boulevard East, Charleston, WV 25305.
