JVS ‘Socktober’
Transition to Work students at the Jefferson County Vocational School performed community service with “Socktober.” Instructor Jennifer Davis said students collected and filled 55 baggies full of socks, personal care items and snacks, adding positive notes to be donated to the Friendship Room in Steubenville and the WEBA Food Pantry in Amsterdam. Davis said more service projects are planned. Preparing some of the bags were, from left, junior Addyson Myers and seniors Katie Anderson and Tim Miller.
