Members of the Warren Township Lions Club in Tiltonsville loaded a vehicle with an assortment of toys and games that were collected during a toy drive sponsored by the probation department at Jefferson County Court 1 in Dillonville. Roger Warren, left, and Rick Verardi transported the gifts to those who will be distributing the Christmas presents to local children in need this holiday season. Organizers thanked the probationers, as well as the residents of Dillonvale and surrounding areas who purchased the items for the children. Others who were thanked included the Sons of the Hopedale American Legion Post 682, who according to officials, “donated so many toys to help our cause.” Club members said they will make sure the presents get to the children who need them in time for Christmas day.
