Fidelis Gamma celebrates the season

CELEBRATING THE SEASON — Those in the Fidelis Gamma Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa International Honorary Organization of Women Educators hosted a Tri-Chapter Christmas luncheon Dec. 6. Among those in attendance were, President Susan Cullinan, Yvonne Santin, Patty Ferris, Janet Benzo, Wendy Speer, Shirley Washam, Bonnie Queses, Liz Pugh, Carolyn Allison, Elaine McClung, Ruth Fuller, Nancy Conley and Eileen Snyder. -- Contributed

WEIRTON -- The West Virginia Fidelis Gamma Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa International Honorary Organization for Women Educators hosted a Tri-Chapter Christmas luncheon at Nio's Restaurant in Weirton Dec. 6.

The three sorority chapters in attendance included Alpha Kappa, Alpha Tau and Fidelis Gamma. There were five West Virginia state officers at the luncheon, including State President Caroly Bauer, Immediate Past State President Michele DeCarlo, Vice President of Membership Diane Stilwell, Regional President Patricia Hardin and State Treasurer Velda Icard.

The establishment was decorated in the holiday theme, with Fidelis Gamma President Susan Cullinan welcoming members and guests for an afternoon of holiday cheer.

Chaplain Elaine McClung provided the blessing, followed by a luncheon enjoyed by all. Members Nancy Conley and Bonnie Queses led the group in the festive singing of Christmas Carols.

The afternoon concluded with the distribution of poinsettias and gifts.
