JVS visits correctional institute
Criminal justice students at the Jefferson County Vocational School visited the Elkton Federal Correctional Institution Dec. 4. Students attended a community relations board meeting and donated 10 boxes of yarn. The yarn will be used by inmates to knit blankets for local veterans. Taking part in the visit were, from left, Brookelina Grigsby, Rylee Bayne, Cholee McCartney, Audrey Nutter, Warden Ian Healy and Executive Assistant Sara Covaleski.
