WINTERSVILLE — Holiday Lights was the category for the Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club’s January competition.

Winners were John Newlin, first place; Jenny Riegler, second place; and Matt Morrison, third place.

For the Open category, there was a tie for first place, as well as second place.

First-place winners were Gina Judy and Morrison. Second-place winners were John Hanish and Newlin. Third place was awarded to Lisa Carte.

In the Special Effects category, the winners were Sharon Slokan, first place; Newlin, second place; and Carte, third place.

The camera club meets on the first Tuesday of every month. An educational meeting is held with either a hands-on workshop or an informative presentation.

On the third Tuesday of the month, a photographic competition takes place.

Meetings are held on the lower level in the social hall of Two Ridges Presbyterian Church, located at 1805 Canton Road in Wintersville.
