Library offering Chapter-A-Day
STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has begun a Chapter-A-Day initiative to get more people involved in reading, as well as to get people who used to read back into the habit of picking up a book.
The program is available to anyone who wants to rediscover the joy of reading through this new, free e-mail service.
Everyday, Chapter-A-Day will send a five-minute portion of a chapter from a book through e-mail.
Once you have had a chance to read two or three of the chapters, Chapter-A-Day will start a new book. Before long, participants will be hooked on reading once again, officials stated.
“Even if you think you don’t have time to read, sign up and let Chapter-A-Day work its magic,” organizers commented.
A new book will be sent by e-mail every Monday. This is a free service brought to you by the PLSJ.
