Rotary chapter starts at JVS
A Rotary Club chapter is being established at the Jefferson County Vocational School. A meeting was held in which 23 students showed interest in brainstorming ideas regarding community service projects. The student organization will partner with the Steubenville Rotary Club. One idea formed during the meeting is to promote Rotary’s mission through literacy by reading to elementary pupils. JVS chapter advisers will be Principal Heather Hoover and Career and Workforce Development Specialist Carina Aulicino. Among the members of the club are, from left, Madison Krzys, Charles Chambers, Kimber Rogers and Olivia Brousseau.
