WINTERSVILLE — The Cross Creek Township 2025 annual financial report has been completed and is available for inspection at the Cross Creek Township office, located at 1267 Cadiz Road in Wintersville.

‘Seduction Science’ planned at center

PITTSBURGH — The Kamin Science Center is inviting sweethearts and those going solo to explore the laws of attraction and seduction during its 21+ Night: Seductive Science.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. Friday and continue until 10 p.m.

Visitors will celebrate Valentine’s Day Eve by learning about the science of seduction and attraction through themed drinks, fun activities, guest speakers and demonstrations that are sure to arouse everyone’s curiosity.

Highlights of the evening will include: Indulging in Valentine’s Day-themed cocktails and mocktails while strolling through all five floors of the science center’s exhibits; learn how to make a date night dessert with a hands-on cooking demo; explore the anatomy of pleasure and why our bodies respond the way they do; grab a partner and take a quick dance lesson to pick up new dance moves; learn about aphrodisiacs and whether they work or not and enjoy an evening under the stars at the Buhl Planetarium.

Tickets will be available to those 21 and older at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.

Class of ’67 to meet

WEIRTON — The Weir High School Class of 1967 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 18 at Dragon Palace, located at 271 Penco Road in Weirton.

All classmates and their spouses are welcome to attend the meeting, which will include food and conversation.

Library to show movie

WELLSBURG — The showing of the PG-13-rated film “Small Things Like These,” at the Follansbee Library will take place at noon on Feb. 20. Those planning on attending are permitted to bring a lunch, with popcorn and water to be provided.
