Members of the Steubenville Kiwanis Club heard from guest speakers Mike Petrella, mayor of Wintersville, and Michael Adams, city manager of Weirton during their February meetings, to date. The speakers addressed the club by discussing their respective city’s current situations, along with future forecasts. The men stated Wintersville and Weirton have positive outlooks regarding the future. Kiwanians expressed their interest in this month’s presentations, all of which feature local mayors and leaders. At left, those in attendance for the Wintersville presentation included, from left, Kiwanis Second Vice President and February’s Program Chair Phyllis Riccadonna, Petrella and Kiwanis Secretary and Treasurer Tom Timmons. At right, those on hand for the Weirton presentation included Timmons, at left, and Adams. The guest speaker for Tuesday’s Kiwanis meeting will be Mingo Junction Mayor Judy Ruckman.
