In Psalm 56:3-4, King David declares: “But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?”

I have thought about that question a great deal over the years. Do I trust God?

The answer to that question is an emphatic yes!

I have had to pull myself together, and I know that we all go through challenges in our lives. Perhaps it is a family member on drugs, someone going through a divorce or someone who wants to give up on life.

It is easy to tell someone to trust in God and not be afraid, but when we are not experiencing what they are going through, we do not always know how they feel.

As Christians, we need to let them know that when you accept Christ into your life, you can cast all your burdens on Him.

He is a loving Savior who will lift your burdens and remove your fears. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

This is the important question: Do you trust God?
