Employees of WVU Medicine Weirton Medical Center took time Tuesday afternoon to place blue and silver pinwheels in the grounds in front of the hospital as part of local observances of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The pinwheels were donated to the hospital by the Brooke Hancock Partners in Prevention, an organization a focus on preventing child abuse in the region.
