BREAKFAST SET IN UNIONPORT

UNIONPORT — A breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Wayne Township Community Center.

The menu will include pancakes and sausage, sausage gravy and biscuits, scrambled eggs and toast and drinks.

Cost is by donation, and proceeds will benefit the upkeep of the center.

SR 213 WATER MAIN WORK, BOIL ORDER ISSUED

JEFFERSON COUNTY — Sections of State Route 213 will be shut off May 26 for water main construction, according to the Jefferson County Sewer and Water District. Customers who lose water service will be under a 48-hour boil advisory once service is restored.

JVS BOARD TO HOLD SPECIAL MEETING

BLOOMINGDALE — The Board of Education of the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School District will hold a special meeting May 26 at 9 a.m. in the boardroom at the school, 1509 County Highway 22A.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider and act upon a resolution regarding an existing levy.

TRANSIT AUTHORITY SETS REGULAR MEETING

STEUBENVILLE — The Steel Valley Regional Transit Authority will hold its regular board meeting Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the Robert J. Cutri Modal Center in Steubenville.
