Community Theater to Present ‘Fiddler on the Roof’
DEERSVILLE — The Deersville Community Theater will present “Fiddler on the Roof” during a four-day run June 18-21.
The musical follows Tevye, a poor milkman, and his family as they navigate life in the village of Anatevka amid changing traditions and growing persecution.
Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. June 18-20 and 2 p.m. June 21. Doors open one hour before each performance. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
The theater’s dining room will open two hours before each performance, offering homemade meals and desserts for a free-will donation.
Ross Trustees Schedule Special Meeting
IRONDALE — The Ross Township Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday at the township garage, 6172 County Road 54.
Trustees will discuss a quote for three township road improvement projects, including possible approval and estimated costs. The board also plans to meet early June 22 to discuss and approve the 2027 operating budget.
Library Announces New Arrivals
STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has announced several new books available to patrons.
New fiction titles include “Dire Bound” by Sable Sorensen and “The Break-Up Retreat” by Camilla Sten. New nonfiction selections include “Make Your Own” by Javant Benton and “Unreasonable Hospitality” by Will Guidara.

Bookmobile Schedule Announced
STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has announced its Bookmobile schedule for June 15-19.
Stops include neighborhoods in Steubenville, senior housing facilities, the Mingo Senior Center, Bloomingdale, the Fort Steuben Concert and the Juneteenth Parade.

Point Park Students Named to Dean’s List
PITTSBURGH — More than 1,300 students were named to the Spring 2026 Dean’s List at Point Park University.
Students named to the list must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher for the semester.
Local students recognized include Baeleigh Burwell and Cilan Tubby of Martins Ferry; Shiloah Connell of Wintersville; Te’Jah Montgomery of Toronto; and Abigail Zinsmeister of Steubenville.
Solid Waste Authority Board to Meet June 15
ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The Jefferson-Belmont Regional Solid Waste Authority Board will hold its regular meeting at 5:30 p.m., Monday, at 67895 Pickering Road.
