EAST SPRINGFIELD — A two-lady scramble was held May 7 at Spring Hills Golf Club.

The team of Debbie Hendricks and Michele Purviance came in first and Kathy Antinone and Toni Dondzila came in second.

After a few weeks of rain, the league resumed play May 28 with a scramble. Two teams tied for first place: Veronica Foldi, Jennie Epifano, Linda Staffilino and Michele Purviance. Also tied for first was the team of Kathy Antinone, Vickie Brozka, Abbey Wilson and Toni Dondzila. Finishing second was the team of Cathy Jackson, Diane Vandine and Dora Elizaga. Two teams tied for third: The team of Dorothy Baire, Debbie Hendricks and Nancy Lellie, and the team of Signa Findlay, Marilyn Crew and Shirley Guida.

The longest drive on No. 1: Foldi, A flight; Vandine, B flight; and Elizaga, C flight. The longest drive on No. 9: Baire, A flight; Hendricks, B flight; and Elizaga, C flight.

Monday Night Ladies League

HOOKSTOWN, Pa. — The Monday Night Ladies League played the back nine at Ponderosa Golf Course Monday.

The play of the day was Blind Partners.

The winning team was Laura Froehlich and Carmela Wallace. Denise Augustine won the prize for closest to the pin on second shot on No. 14. Yuko Atwell won the prize for long drive on No. 16. Brenda Hartley won the chip-in prize, having a chip in on No. 17. Augustine had the lowest putts recorded for the evening.

Cadiz Women’s Golf League

CADIZ — The play of the day for the Cadiz Women’s Golf League May 20 was Low Gross Score, and the hostesses were Kathy Newburn and Cathy Jackson. Weekly winners were A Flight — Roberta Cireddu; B Flight — Brenda Hartley; and C Flight — Mary Carter. Putt winners included Laura Froehlich, Judy Crawshaw and Sandy Terek. Roberta Cireddu had a birdie and Brenda Hartley had a chip-in.

On Wednesday, the league was hosted by Mary Carter and Roberta Cireddu, and the lay of the day was Low Gross Score on the front nine. The winners were A-Flight — Roberta Cireddu; B-Flight — Donna Griffin; and C-Flight — Denise Augustine. The putt winners included Sherry Sapon, Roberta Cireddu, Kathy Smith, Donna Griffin and Kim Ochsenbine. Kathy Newburn, Tracy Amos, Jan Schultz, Roberta Cireddu and Marilyn Kenny had birdies and Paula Hope, Kathy Newburn and Marilyn Kenny had chip-ins.
