FAO accepting applications for environmental funding
NELSONVILLE -- The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio is accepting applications for up to $250,000 in grants, fellowships, research funding and innovation awards supporting conservation and environmental stewardship projects.
Eligible applicants in Appalachian Ohio's 32 counties and seven additional counties served by the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District may apply for community grants, fellowships, innovation grants and research grants. Library announces new nonfiction books
STEUBENVILLE -- The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has added several new nonfiction titles to its collection.
New releases include "Unreasonable Hospitality" by Will Guidara, "The Wilder Way" by Eva zu Beck, "Even the Darkest Night" by Christopher G. Choukalas and "The Book of Birds" by Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris.

Bookmobile schedule announced
STEUBENVILLE -- The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has announced its Bookmobile schedule for July 6-10.
Stops include Country Club Manor, Prime Time on Lovers Lane, North End and South End neighborhoods, Carriage Inn, Heritage Village, Meridian Greene, Dixon Health Care, Mingo Senior Center, Bloomingdale neighborhood, Historic Fort Steuben Concert Series and Sycamore Center Food Drive.

McDonald's offering FIFA collectible cups
WHEELING -- Participating McDonald's restaurants in the Wheeling-Steubenville area will offer a free limited-edition FIFA World Cup collectible cup Wednesday with a minimum $7 purchase made through the McDonald's app.
The promotion coincides with the U.S. vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina soccer match. The cups are part of a limited-run series celebrating global soccer culture and are available while supplies last.
