JVS cancels July board meeting
BLOOMINGDALE -- The Jefferson County Joint Vocational School Board of Education has canceled its regular meeting scheduled for July.
The board’s next regular meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Aug. 18 in the board room at the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School.
Follansbee council to hold special meeting Friday
FOLLANSBEE, W.Va. -- Follansbee City Council will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. Friday in council chambers to vote on the hiring of a police officer.
According to Mayor Scott McMahon, additional information regarding the contract will be released at a later date.
