Weirton Women’s Club plans Teddy Bear Tea
WEIRTON -- Children and their families are invited to a fun-filled afternoon at the annual Teddy Bear Tea, hosted by the Weirton Women’s Club at 1 p.m. July 29 in the activity room of the Mary H. Weir Public Library.
The free event is designed to delight young readers with an afternoon of stories and refreshments. Every child who attends will receive a teddy bear to take home. In addition, each child will have the opportunity to participate in a special drawing, where winners will be able to choose either a second teddy bear or a book as their prize.
The program will include a story, a brief video and light refreshments, making it a perfect summertime outing for children and their families.
The Teddy Bear Tea has become a tradition in the community, offering children an opportunity to enjoy reading while creating lasting memories with a new furry friend.
The Weirton Women’s Club and the Mary H. Weir Public Library invite families to attend the event and celebrate the joy of books, bears, and community together.
