STEUBENVILLE -- 7 Ranges Entertainment is teaming up with the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County to help local students and families get ready for the new school year with the Level Up for School Back-to-School Bash.
The event will run from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at 7 Ranges Entertainment.
The community-focused event will bring together local organizations and businesses for an afternoon dedicated to helping students start the school year prepared, supported and excited.
Among the highlights are:
• Free school supplies for students in pre-K through 12th grade;
• Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County bookmobile;
• Community organizations and local vendors;
• Giveaways and activities for local families;
• Two bicycle giveaways sponsored by Sienna Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation -- one 20-inch bike and one 24-inch bike; and
• Back-to-school fun in a family-friendly setting.
The bash is designed to make preparing for a new school year a little easier for families while bringing the community together in a fun and welcoming environment.
7 Ranges, the library system and participating community partners are working together to provide local students with useful back-to-school resources while creating an enjoyable community event for families throughout the Ohio Valley, a spokesperson for 7 Ranges said.
